Get Ready for Summer Events at CSA: Long Range Leagues, Matches & More
The summer season is always busy and the CSA Long Range is no exception. With several exciting opportunities lined up, there's something for every range-shooting enthusiast.

Weekly Long Range League
Every Monday at 5:30PM
Led by Ray Weitzel, the Long Range League runs weekly and is open to all Long Range Qualified CSA members.
Not qualified yet? No problem. If you're new to CSA or long-range shooting, reach out to Ray about the Long Range Mentorship Program to get qualified and start participating.
Bench Rest Program – New Tactical Division
Directed by Dean Fuller
Dean has taken over the Bench Rest Program from Jeff for the 2025 season and has introduced a new Tactical Division.
This new category requires:
Rifles fed from a magazine
Use of a front bipod/bag and rear bag
It's a great opportunity for CSA shooters using factory or semi-custom rifles to join in the Bench Rest matches. Don’t miss the upcoming match on Saturday, June 7th and more events in July and August.
Precision Rifle – PRS Sanctioned Matches
In partnership with WI PRC
CSA has again teamed up with WPRC to host seven matches from March to September. These matches are part of the PRS Great Lakes Regional Series and are a great way to earn points in the PRS Great Lakes Regional Series.
The next match is June 21st. Register on the WPRC website or just come out and enjoy the action as a spectator!
Precision Rimfire – NRL22 & PRS22
Directed by Jon Kaiser
Monthly NRL22 rimfire matches continue, and new for this year are PRS22 matches in July and August.
What’s New?
Matches will be held in a new area of the Long Range to allow more targets between 100–200 yards.
Shooters can use bolt or semi-automatic rifles (many 10-22s are used) with an optic with adjustable turrets.
Key Dates:
NRL22 Match:Â June 28th
First PRS22 Match:Â July 19th
Introduction to Long Range Shooting
The next Introduction to Long Range Shooting Course is July 23rd. This course will introduce the ideas of long range shooting to individuals who are new to long range shooting or are interested in getting into long range shooting.
If you are interested in getting into long range shooting, I would recommend taking this course before purchasing a rifle/optic/ other gear.Â
A Special Thanks
All of these programs would not be possible without the continued and dedicated support of our program directors and the many CSA volunteers who make these events run smoothly.
A special thanks to all of these volunteers that create these many fun and exciting shooting opportunities at CSA.
