Trap shooting is at the heart of what we do here at CSA. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or brand new to the sport, we invite you to join us for fun, friendly competition and skill-building Thursday evenings during spring and fall.​​​
Trap Leagues for 2025
6-Week League · Two-Person Handicap Format
Spring League starts Thursday, April 3, 2025
Fall League starts Sept. 11, 2025 and runs through Oct. 23, 2025. Party is on Oct. 30, 2025.
Teams consist of two shooters who will shoot together each week. Each team shoots two rounds of trap: the first from the 16-yard line, and the second from a handicap distance based on the team's combined score.
Shooters sign up at 5:45 PM, and we start promptly at 6:00 PM. The second round begins at 6:30 PM, so we ask all shooters to be ready no later than 6:30. We aim to have all first rounds completed by 7:00 PM to properly match teams for handicap rounds.
We’ll pair teams based on yardages, and open trap begins after league ends each night—usually around 7:00 PM. If you’re not in the league, you’re still welcome to shoot once things open up!
League Info & Fees
Team registration is $20, due the first night. This covers awards and our end-of-season dinner.
The club is open for trap shooting Thursday evenings only during league season.
Facilities & Fun
We have three trap houses, all equipped with voice-activated systems to keep things running smoothly. Keep an eye out for white birds—hitting one earns you a free drink during league nights!
We're always looking for scorers to help keep things moving efficiently. If you're waiting your turn, you may be asked to help score a round.

CSA is committed to growing our trap shooting program, and we're happy to expand to include more teams and shooters as needed. We keep things light and friendly—perfect for new shooters, returning members, and experienced trap fans alike.
Please RSVP your team early by contacting Trap Director Ed, or just stop by on a Thursday night. During off-hours, members are welcome to shoot, but you’ll need to bring your own thrower and birds.
All league and open trap nights follow our standard Trap Etiquette Guidelines.

We run spring and fall trap leagues, with trap shooting from 6:00–9:00 PM every Thursday all year long. League rounds usually finish by 7:30 PM, followed by open trap.
