The club is growing—and so are the needs! We’re looking for volunteers to pitch in and help with a number of important maintenance tasks and upcoming events. Whether you're handy with tools, enjoy working outdoors, or just want to give back to the shooting community, there’s a role for you. As a reminder, volunteer participation is a membership requirement, and helping out is a great way to fulfill that while supporting the club. See more information on our webpage if needed.

Long Range - Help us keep it clean and safe!
Every helping hand contributes to a safer, cleaner range. Volunteer today!

🔧 Facility Projects – Contact Paul Genz

Help us maintain and improve our club facilities:

  • Trash Removal: We need someone to regularly empty trash receptacles from various ranges.

  • Picnic Table Transport: Move the picnic table from the clubhouse pavilion to the Action Rifle Range

  • Picnic Table Paint: Give the picnic table a fresh coat of paint.

  • General Painting: Help with other painting needs as they arise.

  • Emergency Exit Project: We’re planning to build a landing and steps on the clubhouse for emergency use. This requires:

  • A design drawing and materials list.

  • Paul will present it to the board on June 18, 2025.

  • We aim to finish this project this summer.

  • Ballistic Wall Construction: A new ballistic wall is planned near Trap 1. Ask Paul for details and how you can assist.

🌿 Grounds Maintenance – Contact Jack Sanderson

Help keep our outdoor spaces looking sharp:

  • Lawn Mower Operators Needed

  • Trimmers Welcome (check with Jack if you need to bring your own string trimmer)

  • Brush Pile Relocation

🚜 Long Range Excavation Project – Contact Brian Cisar or Dean Fuller

The board has approved a major upgrade to the Long Range, and we already have a Land Use Permit. Excavation is expected to wrap up by mid-summer, depending on contractor availability.

Once that’s done, we’ll need volunteers for:

  • Seeding and mulching

  • Clearing rocks

  • Other final prep and cleanup work
